The process

  1. 1

    First meeting

    It is both pleasant and useful to have a meeting over a cup of coffee to talk through how the dream can be realised. Think through what wishes you have for life in the log building, whether you have found a favourite in the catalogue, and what the budget allows.

  2. 2

    Concept development

    After the first meeting, we have a picture of how the project can be designed. If you find your dream building among our core models, that is the most efficient solution. We also offer flexible adaptations or completely unique designs based on your wishes.

  3. 3

    Site visit

    We are happy to visit the plot together with you to quality-assure drawings and choice of model. Our experience from many previous projects combined with your unique wishes ensures the best possible result.

  4. 4

    Contract meeting

    Once we agree on model, scope of delivery and price, we sign the contract. This is an important moment worth celebrating! After that, we arrange the building application, financing and insurance.

  5. 5

    3-party meeting

    The 3-party meeting is attended by the seller, the site manager and you as customers. The plans for the project are reviewed here. This is the last chance for changes – after the meeting, drawings, delivery description and room schedule are locked.

  6. 6

    Production

    The timber shell is produced under controlled conditions at our factory. High quality requirements are set for materials and the production process. Every single log is carefully checked and processed for its unique place.

  7. 7

    Building process

    Øverbygg's site manager handles the building process with all agreed deliveries. Experienced assembly teams erect the buildings and ensure quality. We take pride in delivering on the agreed date.

  8. 8

    Handover

    Once the building is completed, a final inspection and handover are carried out. You go through the building together with the site manager and check that the delivery is as agreed. When everything is ready, you get the keys!
