The process

First meeting

It is both enjoyable and useful to have a meeting over a cup of coffee to talk through how the dream can be realised. Think about what you would like for life in your timber building, whether you have found a favourite in the catalogue, and what your budget allows.

Concept development

After the first meeting we have a picture of how the project could take shape. If you find your dream timber building among our core models, that is the most efficient solution. We also offer flexible adaptations or entirely bespoke designs based on your wishes.

Site visit

We are happy to visit the plot together with you to quality-assure the drawings and the choice of model. Our experience from many previous projects, combined with your unique wishes, ensures the best possible result.

Contract meeting

Once we agree on the model, the scope of delivery and the price, we sign the contract. This is an important moment that is worth celebrating! We then arrange the building application, financing and insurance.

Three-party meeting

The three-party meeting involves the sales adviser, the site manager and you as the customer. Here we review the plans for the project. This is the last chance to make changes – after the meeting the drawings, delivery description and room schedule are finalised.

Production

The timber shell is produced under controlled conditions at our factory. High quality standards are set for the materials and the production process. Every single log is carefully inspected and worked to fit its unique place.

Construction

Øverbygg's site manager handles the construction process with all the agreed deliveries. Experienced assembly teams put up the buildings and ensure the quality. We take pride in delivering on the agreed date.

Handover

Once the building is complete, a final inspection and handover are carried out. You go through the building together with the site manager and check that the delivery is as agreed. When everything is ready, you get the keys!
