About Øverbygg

The story of Øverbygg is about commitment, community mobilisation, proud traditions and genuine Norwegian craftsmanship. With roots among local founders in Snåsa, Øverbygg has produced and delivered over 1400 cabins in Norway and Sweden over more than 35 years. This experience has given us in-depth market knowledge, which benefits our customers through a unique selection of cabin models in high-quality log construction.

Our models can be adapted to your wishes and needs, whether they are to be located in the archipelago or in the mountains. We deliver everything from an assembled log shell and closed building to a turnkey log building. You can meet us at our offices in Trøndelag, and we have only one showcase cabin, at Norsk Hyttesenter.

Log building is a construction technique with long traditions. Based on traditional craftsmanship, Øverbygg, in collaboration with architects and quality-conscious customers, has further developed and modernised the expression in several of the models. The result is new design and exciting combinations of wood, stone and glass.
